Life is short

"Life is short, break the rules, forgive sooner, love with true love, laugh without control and always keep smiling. Maybe life is not the party that we were expecting, but in the mean time, we're here and we can still dance....."

Anger and Love have no limits

While a man was polishing his new car, his 4 yr old son picked up a stone and scratched lines on the side of the car. In anger, the man took the child's hand and hit it many times; not realizing he was using a wrench.
At the hospital, the child lost all his fingers due to multiple fractures.
When the child saw his father.....with painful eyes he asked, ‘Daddy, when will my fingers grow back?'
The man was so hurt and speechless; he went back to his car and kicked it a lot of times. Devastated by his own actions..... ...sitting in front of that car he looked at the scratches; the child had written 'LOVE YOU DAD'.
.. . Anger and Love have no limits; choose the latter to have a beautiful, lovely life..... Things are to be used and people are to be loved, but the problem in today's world is that, People are used and things are loved...
During the day, be careful to keep this thought in mind: Things are to be used, but People are to be loved ... Be yourself.... This is the only day we HAVE.. Have a nice day!
Watch your thoughts; they become words.
Watch your words; they become actions.
Watch your actions; they become habits.
Watch your habits they become character;
Watch your character; it becomes your destiny

Life quote

In life, there are moments when you miss someone so much that you feel like you could only fulfill your dreams by holding that person tight in your arms.
When the door of happiness is closed, another opens; but many of us continue only to look at the closed door. As a result, we often fail to see the new door with its new opportunities.
Do not trust appearances; they are often false.
Do not interest yourself only in wealth; it may disappear.
Seek someone who communicates with you in laughter, for laughter can turn a sad day into a joyful one.
Dream whatever you desire to dream.
Go wherever you wish.
Seek whatever you desire.
Because life is unique and is dependent on how you shape it.
The lucky ones do not always have the best.
Often, they seek simply the best of what they see on their journey.
Your future happiness may well depend on your ability to leave the past behind.
Live life to its fullest, and be positive always … in spite of difficult times.
Never lose an opportunity to bring sunshine into the life of another. A few encouraging words
could make a huge difference in someone’s life.
Life is more than just breathing.
Real living is made up of moments that take your breath away.

Making Friends

The better part of every life,
Is spent in making friends,
The years leave many broken things,
That only kindness mends!
The slender chain of gold that links
Two hearts can hold its own,
A burden shared is lighter
Than the one we bear alone!
Somehow the road grows shorter,
Walking hand and hand,
Seeing tenderness in eyes,
That truly understand!
And thus it is until life ends,
We spend the best years ... Making Friends!

If You Love Someone

Here are times in life...
When the person you will love,
For the rest of your life.
Walks into your life.
Sometimes, just sometimes...
You hurt that person,
You push them away.
Not meaning to,
But you do.
Because you do this...
You lose that person,
They walk away.
At times...
You are afraid,
To go on, after this.
But what choice do you have?
All you can do...
Is hope that one day,
If that person really was the one.
You will meet again.
And if, just by chance...
You get that second chance,
Remember the past.
Learn from your mistakes,
And never let them happen again.
And by doing this...
You will find out,
That a lifetime of happiness awaits.
If kisses were water, I'd give u a sea,
If hugs were leaves, I'd give u a tree,
If spaces were love, I'd give eternity,
And if u are true and sincere to me,
I'll keep all my love just for thee.
And every morning when you open your eyes,
Tell yourself that it is special.
Every day, every minute,
Every second is a gift from God.
You've got to dance like nobody's watching,
And love like it's never going to hurt.
People say true friends must always hold hands,
But true friends don't need to hold hands
Because they know the other
Hand will always be there.

How Many Friends?

The old man turned to me and asked
"How many friends have you?"
Why 10 or 20 friends have I,
And named off just a few...
He rose quite slow with effort
And sadly shook his head
"A lucky child you are
To have so many friends," he said
But think of what you're saying
There is so much you do not know
A friend is just not someone
To whom you say "Hello"
A friends a tender shoulder
On which to softly cry
A well to pour your troubles down
And raise your spirits high
A friend is a hand to pull you up
From darkness and despair...
When all your other "so called" friends
Have helped to put you there
A true friend is an ally
Who can't be moved or bought
A voice to keep your name alive
When others have forgot
But most of all a friend is a heart
A strong and sturdy wall
For from the hearts of friends
There comes the greatest love of all!!!
So think of what I've spoken
For every word is true
And answer once again my child
How many friends have you???
And then he stood and faced me
Awaiting my reply
Softly I answered
"If lucky...... one have "I"

If life is so short

Isn't it funny how time seems to slip away so fast
One minute you're happy, the other you're sad
But if you give me one more chance
To show my love for you is true I'll stand by your side your whole life through
If life is so short
Why don't you let me love you
Before we run out of time If love is so strong
Why won't you take the chance
Before our time has gone
If life is so short, if life is so short
Love is a word that explains how I feel for you
And when you're in my arms, all my dreams come true
And when you're not around
You can't hardly see
These tears that I'm crying now are for you to be with me

Love quotes

I love you not only for what you are, but for what I am when I am with you. I love you not only for what you have made of yourself, but for what you are making of me. I love you for the part of me that you bring out.
Elizabeth Barrett Browning

Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some people move our souls to dance. They awaken us to new understanding with the passing whisper of their wisdom. Some people make the sky more beautiful to gaze upon. They stay in our lives for awhile, leave footprints on our hearts, and we are never ever the same.
Flavia Weedn

It is impossible to love and be wise.

Love is a fire. But whether it is going to warm your heart or burn down your house, you can never tell.

Romance is built on illusion, and when we love someone, we love the illusion they have created for us

Love is an ideal thing, marriage a real thing; a confusion of the real with the ideal never goes unpunished.

Absence makes the heart grow fonder.

Love is like a fruit. It may look good, but you shouldn't bite in it until it's ripe.
If you love something, turn it loose. If it doesn't come back, kill it!

Love is seeing without eyes, hearing without ears; hatred is nothing.

Love affairs have always greatly interested me, but I do not greatly care for them in books or moving pictures. In a love affair, I wish to be the hero, with no audience present

Love affairs have always greatly interested me, but I do not greatly care for them in books or moving pictures. In a love affair, I wish to be the hero, with no audience present.

A man is in love when something in his head, something in his and chest and something in his pants react to a certain woman.

The opposite of love is not hate, the opposite of love is ignorance.

Kindness is loving people more than they deserve.

Love doesn't make the world go round.

Love is what makes the ride wortwhile

Love cures people; both the ones who give it, and the ones who receive it.

Marriage is like a cage; one sees the birds outside desperate to get in, and those inside desperate to get out.

Love is like an hourglass, with the heart filling up as the brain empties.

Absence extinguishes small passions and increases great ones, as the wind blows out a candle, and fans a bonfire.

Flirting is the gentle art of making a man feel pleased with himself

My advice to you is to get married. If you find a good wife, you'll be happy;
if not, you'll become a philosopher.

No distance of place or lapse of time can lessen the friendship of those who are thoroughly persuaded of each other's worth.

The essence of true friendship is to make allowances for another's little lapses

It is best to love wisely, no doubt; but to love foolishly is better than not to be
able to love at all.

Marriage is the triumph of imagination over intelligence. Second marriage is the triumph of hope over experience

Before you find your handsome prince, you have to kiss a lot of frogs.

Hearts are often broken when words are unspoken.

If there is anything better than being loved, it's loving.

If we deny love that is given to us, if we refuse to give love because we fear pain or loss, then our lives will be empty, our loss greater.

Love will make you forget time, and time will make you forget love.

When falling in love, some lose their head, others lose their heart.

Titanic Theme, "My Heart Will Go On"

We've got this gift of love, but love is like a precious plant. You can't just accept it and leave it in the cupboard or just think it's going to get on by itself. You've got to keep watering it. You've got to really look after it and nurture it.
John Lennon

You may wish to be loving-- you may even try with all your might-but your love will never be pure unless you are free from resentment. When we are free from resentment, loving is effortless. When we have to try hard to love, this is generally a sign that we are repressing our resentments.
John Gray (Men, Women and Relationships)

Things base and vile, holding no quantity,
Love can transpose to form and dignity.
Love looks not with the eye, but with the mind,
And therefore is winged Cupid painted blind.
William Shakespeare

Love vanquishes time. To lovers, a moment can be eternity, eternity can be the tick of a clock. Across the barriers of time and the ultimate destiny, love persists, for the home of the beloved, absent or present, is always in the mind and heart. Absence does not diminish love.
Mary Parrish (MaCalls Magazine)

Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around.
Leo Buscaglia

Many people when they fall in love look for a little haven of refuge from the world, where they can be sure of being admired when they are not admirable, and praised when they are not praiseworthy.
Bertrand Russell
Though we may think we know each other well, when we neglect feelings in a relationship, we neglect the deepest and most intimate part of ourselves ... sharing feelings leads us to great closeness because feelings are very personal, the most intimate part of us. The sharing of a deep feeling is the greatest gift a human being can give to another.
Fr. Chuck Gallagher

Changes in Life

In every change that you experience in life,
there will be times when you'll wonder if you can endure.
But you'll learn that facing each difficulty one by one isn't so hard.
It's when you don't deal with a situation that if sometimes comes back to confront you again.
Changes are sometimes very painful,
but they teach us that we can endure
and that we can become stronger.
Everything that comes into your life has a purpose,
but the outcome is in your hands by the action you take.
Be wise with your life,
be willing to endure,
and always be willing to face life's challenges.

Bend, but Don't Break

One of my fondest memories as a child is going by the river and sitting idly on the bank. There I would enjoy the peace and quiet, watch the water rush downstream, and listen to the chirps of birds and the rustling of leaves in the trees. I would also watch the bamboo trees bend under pressure from the wind and watch them return gracefully to their upright or original position after the wind had died down.
When I think about the bamboo tree's ability to bounce back or return to it's original position, the word resilience comes to mind. When used in reference to a person this word means the ability to readily recover from shock, depression or any other situation that stretches the limits of a person's emotions.
Have you ever felt like you are about to snap? Have you ever felt like you are at your breaking point? Thankfully, you have survived the experience to live to talk about it.
During the experience you probably felt a mix of emotions that threatened your health. You felt emotionally drained, mentally exhausted and you most likely endured unpleasant physical symptoms.
Life is a mixture of good times and bad times, happy moments and unhappy moments. The next time you are experiencing one of those bad times or unhappy moments that take you close to your breaking point, bend but don't break. Try your best not to let the situation get the best of you.
A measure of hope will take you through the unpleasant ordeal. With hope for a better tomorrow or a better situation, things may not be as bad as they seem to be. The unpleasant ordeal may be easier to deal with if the end result is worth having.
If the going gets tough and you are at your breaking point, show resilience. Like the bamboo tree, bend, but don't break!

Time is Eternity

Time is too slow for those who wait,
too swift for those who fear,
too long for those who grieve,
too short for those who rejoice,
but for those who love...TIME IS ETERNITY...

Saturday, 20 June 2009

Remember, spend some time with your loved ones, because they are not going to be around forever.

Remember, say a kind word to someone who looks up to you in awe, because that little person soon will grow up and leave your side.

Remember, to give a warm hug to the one next to you, because that is the only treasure you can give with your heart and it doesn't cost a cent.

Remember, to say: 'I love you' to your partner and your loved ones, but most of all mean it. A kiss and an embrace will mend hurt when it comes from deep inside of you.

Remember, to hold hands and cherish the moment for someday that person will not be there again.

Give time to love, give time to speak! And give time to share the precious thoughts in your mind.

Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.

The key to happiness

The secret to happiness is not to get what you want, but to want what you already have.

If you think about it, most discontent grows from want.

We want more stuff, more excitement, more pleasure.

When we don't get those things, we're resentful and unsatisfied.

Take away the want, and you take away the unhappiness.

When your quality of life is tied to your desires, fulfillment is a shadow that escapes your view.

Like trying to imagine a new color, the harder you look, the harder it is to see.

Does this mean you stop setting goals and striving for a healthy lifestyle and better life?

No. It means you can appreciate life regardless of the outcome. It means you can relish the pursuit while accepting the possibility of failure. It means you can still enjoy the ride.

Happiness is not a destination--it's a way of life.

Life - Love - Happiness - Jimi Hollemans

For every minute you are angry, you lose sixty seconds of happinness.

There is only one happiness in life,to love and be loved.

Love is a never ending feeling.

A friend's love says: "if you ever need anything, I'll be there."

True Love says: "You'll never need anything ; I'll be there."

Love life and life will love you back. Love people and they will love you back.

Life is like an onion: You peel it off one layer at a time, and sometimes you weep.

When you have only two pennies left in the world, buy a loaf of bread with one, and a lily with the other.

You think you want to die, but really, you just want it to be saved.

Live life as if you will die tomorrow, dream as if you will live forever.

I dreamed a dream - Susan Boyle

Susan Boyle has wanted to be a singer since she was a teenager. So, she became the successful contestant in "Britain's Got Talent" with the song "I Dreamed a Dream" from "Les Miserables." She brought us the Hope of Life...
I dreamed a dream
I dreamed a dream in times gone by
When hope was high
And life worth living
I dreamed that love would never die
I dreamed that God would be forgiving
Then I was young and unafraid
And dreams were made and used and wasted
There was no ransom to be paid
No song unsung
No wine un tasted
But the tigers come at night
With their voices soft as thunder
As they tear your hope apart
And they turn your dream to shame
He slept a summer by my side
He filled my days with endless wonder
He took my childhood in his stride
But he was gone when autumn came
And still I dream he'll come to me
That we will live the years together
But there are dreams that cannot be
And there are storms we cannot weather
I had a dream my life would be
So different from this hell I'm living
So different now from what it seemed
Now life has killed
The dream I dreamed

The Most Powerful 'Three Word Phrases'

The following three-word phrases can enrich every relationship. These are just three little but very powerful words.

I'll Be There

If you have ever had to call a friend in the middle of the night, to take a sick child to hospital, or when your car has broken down some miles from home, you will know how good it feels to hear the phrase “I’ll be there.” Being there for another person is the greatest gift we can give. When we're truly present for other people, important things happen to them & us. We are renewed in love and friendship. We are restored emotionally and spiritually. Being there is at the very core of civility.

I Miss You

Perhaps more marriages could be saved & strengthened if couples simply & sincerely say to each other "I miss you." This powerful affirmation tells partners they are wanted, needed, desired & loved. Consider how ecstatic you would feel, if you received an unexpected phone call from your spouse in the middle of your workday, just to say "I miss you."

I Respect You / I Trust You

Respect and trust is another way of showing love. It conveys the feeling that another person is a true equal. If you talk to your children as if they were adults you will strengthen the bonds & become close friends. This applies to all interpersonal relationships

Maybe you’re Right

This phrase is highly effective in diffusing an argument and restoring frayed emotions. The flip side to "maybe you're right" is the humility of admitting maybe "I'm wrong". Let's face it. When you have a heated argument with someone, all you do is cement the other person's point of view. They, or you, will not change their stance and you run the risk of seriously damaging the relationship between you. Saying "maybe you're right" can open the door to further explore the subject, in which you may then have the opportunity to get your view across in a more rational manner.

Please Forgive Me

Many broken relationships could be restored and healed if people would admit their mistakes and ask for forgiveness. All of us are vulnerable to faults and failures. A man should never be ashamed to own up that he has been in the wrong, which is saying, in other words, that he is wiser today than he was yesterday.

I Thank You

Gratitude is an exquisite form of courtesy. People who enjoy the companionship of good, close friends are those who don't take daily courtesies for granted. They are quick to thank their friends for their many expressions of kindness. On the other hand, people whose circle of friends is severely constricted often do not have the attitude of gratitude.

Count On Me

A friend is one who walks in when others walk out. Loyalty is an essential ingredient for true friendship; it is the emotional glue that bonds people. Those that are rich in their relationships tend to be steady and true friends. When troubles come, a good friend is there indicating "you can count on me."

Let Me Help

The best of friends see a need and try to fill it. When they spot a hurt they do what they can to heal it. Without being asked, they pitch in and help.

I Understand You

People become closer and enjoy each other more if they feel the other person accepts and understands them. Letting your spouse know in so many little ways that you understand them, is one of the most powerful tools for healing relationship. This applies to any relationship.

Go For It

We are all unique individuals. Don't try to get your friends to conform to your ideals. Support them in pursuing their interests, no matter how weird they seem to you. Everyone has dreams, dreams that are unique to that person only. Support and encourage your friends to follow their dreams. Tell them to "go for it."

I Love You

Perhaps the most important three words that you can say. Telling someone that you truly love them satisfies a person's deepest emotional needs. The need to belong, to feel appreciated and to be wanted. Your spouse, your children, your friends and you, all need to hear those three little words "I love you."

Internet love experience

What do you think about Internet love? Do you have a positive or negative experience of finding love though the internet? Do you think you can find true love on the net?

People often join internet dating sites or English clubs to make friend and if they could meet someone they like, their relationship will be growing more and more. Actually, some couples got married and they had a happy life. Some were not.. :(

Internet is a research tool or it's a way of building bridge between men and women and love happens when they have same feelings...

A Love like You
by Judy Star
Have I ever told you?
Just how special you are
That when you smile and beam
You emit a light that’s brighter
Than the night’s stars

Have I ever told you?
How important you are to me
And how you’ve been so surreal
You’re in my thoughts and dreams.
You show me love that’s so real
And true too.

Have I ever told you?
That many times when I’m sad
Feeling blue, feel like I’m held together
With crazy glue all I have to do
Is think of you and all is right and new

Have I ever told you?
When I thought of comparing you
With others that I knew
I realize none is as endearing
There is no one on this earth
I would compare you with

Have I ever told you?
That picture of you does come into
My mind
I wouldn’t make it if you weren’t
There for me to find.

Have I ever told you?
That I want to thank you
For the time spend sharing
And day dreaming
Our hopes and dreams.
In fact it makes me glad
That I have found someone
So Special YOU!

Today is a gift of Life

There is a bank that credits your account each morning with $86,400.

It carries over no balance from day to day.
Every evening deletes whatever part of the balance you failed to use during the day. What would you do? Draw out ALL OF IT, of course!
Each of us has such a bank. Its name is TIME.
Every morning, it credits you with 86,400 seconds. Every night it writes off, as lost, whatever of this you have failed to invest to good purpose. It carries over no balance. It allows no overdraft.
Each day it opens a new account for you. Each night it burns the remains of the day. If you fail to use the day's deposits, the loss is yours. There is no going back. There is no drawing against the "tomorrow."
You must live in the present on today's deposits. Invest it so as to get from it the utmost in health, happiness, and success! The clock is running. Make the most of today.
To realize the value of ONE YEAR, ask a student who failed a grade.
To realize the value of ONE MONTH, ask a mother who gave birth to a premature baby.
To realize the value of ONE WEEK, ask the editor of a weekly newspaper.
To realize the value of ONE HOUR, ask the lovers who are waiting to meet.
To realize the value of ONE MINUTE, ask a person who missed the train.
To realize the value of ONE SECOND, ask a person who just avoided an accident.
To realize the value of ONE-TENTH OF A SECOND, ask the person who won a silver medal in the Olympics.
Treasure every moment that you have! And treasure it more because you shared it with someone special to spend your time. And remember that time waits for no one.
Yesterday is history.
Tomorrow is a mystery.
Today is a gift. That's why it's called the present!
Friends are a very rare jewel, indeed. They make you smile and encourage you to succeed. They lend an ear, they share a word of praise, and they always want to open their heart to us.
Send this to everyone you consider a FRIEND. If it comes back to you, then you'll know you have a circle of friends.

With money....

* With money you can buy a house, but not a home.
* With money you can buy a clock, but not time.
* With money you can buy a bed, but not sleep.
* With money you can buy a book, but not knowledge.
* With money you can buy a doctor, but not good health.
* With money you can buy a position, but not respect.
* With money you can buy blood, but not life.
* With money you can buy sex, but not love.

Failure doesn't mean you are a failure...

Failure doesn't mean you are a failure,
It does mean you haven't succeeded yet.
Failure doesn't mean you have accomplished nothing,
It does mean you have learned something.
Failure doesn't mean you have been a fool,
It does mean you had a lot of faith.
Failure doesn't mean you've been disgraced,
It does mean you were willing to try.
Failure doesn't mean you don't have it,
It does mean you have to do something in a different way.
Failure doesn't mean you are inferior,
It does mean you are not a perfect.
Failure doesn't mean you've wasted your life,
It does mean you have a reason to start afresh.
Failure doesn't mean you should give up,
It does mean you must try harder.
Failure doesn't mean you'll never make it,
It does mean it will take a little longer.
Failure doesn't mean God has abandoned you,
It does mean God has a better idea.
